Organizations and Youth Development

We recently visited 3 different places: Plaza branch, Kansas City Public Library, Kansas City Zoo and Thornberry Unit, Boys and Girls Club. If we use the two categories youth development organization and organziation that develops youth development, how would you classify the three sites. Give the specific criteria by which you made your decision.

Okay, so help me with definitions again. What is the difference between a youth development organizaition and an organization that develops youth?

This is a hard group to please - the library is doing its part and the zoo is trying to be relevant to young people, but you fault them for not providing the same kind of attention as B&G? Should the library and zoo be providing the same kinds of opportunities and supports as B&G?

What does the library do well? How can they use that to provide opportunities and supports for youth?
